$6 MILLION GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE FOR FIRST-TIME HOMEOWNERS
The Samoa Housing Corporation (SHC) is pleased to announce that the Government of Samoa has appropriated $6 million for the Housing Loan Facility to be administered by the Corporation. This initiative will support first- homeowners and growing families across the nation.
This major initiative reflects the Government’s ongoing commitment to ‘empowering communities, building resilience and inspiring growth’ of its people. SHC is proud to play a role in this initiative through the provision of affordable concessional financing, to ensure more Samoans achieve their dream of owning their very first home, and/or for accommodating larger families.
Key Features of the Housing Concessional Loan Scheme:
- Lower, more affordable interest rates
- Flexible repayment terms
- Tailored support for first-time homeowners
- Open to all eligible Samoan families
Further details, including terms and conditions, eligibility criteria, loan types and application requirements will be released once funds are received from the Government.
